FLUX CHAMBER – EOSENSE
Description
In greenhouse gas (GHG) research—especially in field environments such as rice paddies, wetlands, farms, or ecological conservation areas—accurate gas sampling is a critical factor influencing the reliability of analysis results.
The Eosense automated flux chamber, designed and manufactured by Eosense (Canada), is one of the internationally standardized tools that effectively supports the measurement and quantification of GHG emissions, including CO₂, CH₄, and N₂O.
Applications
- Measuring gas flux from soil, greenhouses, croplands, forests, livestock farms, etc.
- Monitoring soil and stem fluxes in forested ecosystems
- Quantifying net ecosystem exchange (NEE)
- Suitable for survey-based campaigns
- Supports spot measurements or long-term continuous monitoring
- Applicable for wetlands, flooded soils, and soft sediments
Key Features
Optimized for Field Use
- Lightweight, durable, easy to assemble/disassemble, and transport
- Designed for operation in challenging terrains: flooded fields, soft soils, or forested areas
Wide device compatibility
- Seamless integration with major gas analyzers: Gasera One GHG, Sky8000-M3X, LI-COR, Picarro, Los Gatos, and more
- Supports auxiliary sensors: temperature, pressure, humidity, and flow rate
Supports Both Manual & Automated Operation
- Works with the closed chamber method (accumulation sampling)
- Integrates with automation systems like EosAC for scheduled, hands-free measurements
Reliable Data – Research Grade Standards
- Cited in hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific publications
- Compliant with IPCC GHG reporting standards
